· In-depth weather and conditions briefing for longer trips such as offshore, minimum fuel, onboard water, food, etc. Safety briefing.
· Review the operation of the boat components, Steering wheel, Throttle, and Anchor.
· Offshore and inlet operations.
· 180 Turn-Around (for tight places)
· Docking and undocking. Wind on bow, wind on stern. Stern out, Bow out.
· Turns, Pivot Turn, Man overboard, Emergency Turn.
· Sandbar avoidance and recovery. (Island stop dropping anchor if time allows)
· For a fee (as agreed with the instructor) launching the boat.
